This case is good for lightweight or minimal hardware. The strap to hold while rolling/carrying is the big downfall here. If you have a lot of hardware in this case, the strap to hold while carrying/rolling can be a big issue. I usually had to wear a glove so the strap would have more weight support.
I recently bought a Gibraltar curved gong stand for a 40" wind gong and needed an appropriate bag in which to store and transport it. Buying a Gibraltar hardware made sense. The good people at Steve Weiss Music helped me to clarify what size bag would be the right fit for my hardware. The bag itself seems sturdy. Only time will tell as to how it stands up to wear and tear, but I imagine it will.
This is a very well constructed case with heavy duty zippers and strongs strap handles. There's plenty of room for all my Gibraltar rack pipes and it sure makes transport much easier than carrying them loose! If you're looking for a well made, convenient way to carry and move your rack, look no further! It's an excellent product!!
