I got this side rack so that I would not have to carry several cymbal stands. The rack weighs quite more than i expected, about the weight of two heavy duty stands. If you're the kind of player who is content with extremely light weight stands i doubt you will enjoy this. If you only use one or maybe two cymbals on your right side i doubt you'll enjoy this. But if you're a heavy hitter or you currently have three or more stands on your right side and want to reduce legs, I recommend this product. It should be compatible with your current hardware, but if this is the first set of hardware you'll be getting, think carefully about which stands booms you get.
