Description
Tales for Marimba is a set of Pieces-Studies for the young marimba players, designed to develop their technical skills through a carefully planned musical and artistic experience. The program, image and artistic idea are revealed in the name of each study.
Volume 1 consists of 5 pieces at an Intermediate level of difficulty, while Volume 2 progresses to the Intermediate/Advanced level. Although the "musical language" of the piece-studies is very simple and easy to learn, however you will need to work hard on your technique to play them well.
In addition to the usual indications of dynamics, articulation and phrasing, sticking has been marked in all pieces. Following this sticking is very important.
