Nice, but Not Cheaper than Rosewood...

I bought these claves back when they were about $17. They are great, with a very balanced tone (not too bright or dark.) Pitch is around D flat. However, Gon Bops should really fix their description as due to their (sometimes massive) price increases on their products, the rosewood claves from other brands like Studio 49, Ludwig and others are actually less expensive, sometimes substantially so. I would pick rosewood over these just for the even more classic sound.
