This Gretsch Renown Snare Drum has the ability to deliver a wide range of sounds creating a drum suitable for most musical situations. The 7ply maple shell features 30 degree bearing edges allows for delicate articulation as well as the projection when needed. Gretsch 302 hoops produce the desirable focused sound like that of a die cast hoop, but are lighter in weight and less rigid, allowing the drum to better “breath” and achieve maximum resonance.
