Description

The Grover TT1 Large Gong Beater is a blue yarn wound beater in marimba mallet style, with a specially weighted hard rubber radial core. This core pulls the fundamental tones from gongs and tam tams. Solid New England hardwood handles, with a smooth satin finish, are a comfortable length to reach the optimum beating spot.

For large tam-tams 32" and larger.

This is a wonderful gong mallet. This mallet has a large amount of weight and a large surface, allowing it to activate the rich sound of any large gong/tam tam. The weight also allows for an almost immediate climax of the gong, and priming the gong becomes not so necessary. It can make the gong hum quietly, or explode.
