For a kit or multi-percussion player, this might be the best $20 you'll have spent since you bought your first pair of sticks. I just bought my third because they're so useful.
Anyone percussionists who has held a stand in one hand an an instrument needing a place to be mounted will find this part indispensable. I will never head to a pit orchestra job again without at least a couple of these at the ready.
FINALLY! After years, someone has produced -- or at least I've found -- a product that is letting me use existing stands to easily and snugly mount cowbells, a Miller Machine, and even a rod for a single tom mount. (Three uses and counting...) It seems every time this nifty little gizmo catches my eye, I ask: "Where have you been all of my (percussive) life?"
These adapters really are handy to make multiple diameter cymbal stands and rods cooperate. You make use them for pit work, multiple percussion set ups, drum set, and even concert percussion. They are a welcome addition to a collection of 3/8" rods and connecting "bones" to make all sorts of useful stands. Such a great idea and especially useful with the new Weiss one rack component system.
