Lavender Mist is excellent composition that will find its way onto many diverse programs. Written for solo marimba and a multiple percussion set up, the piece is modern in terms of pitch but with many themes, motives and returning ideas which give the piece a solid form and 'sound'. Highly recommended for collegiate recitals.
