1st & 10 by John R. Hearnes is a football novelty ensemble for 8-9 peformers. This orignial concept by John Hearnes requires the performers to get all geared up in football attire (including helmets and pads) and act out a whole football game from the locker room speech, to warm ups, to the game itself. All the while, the performers are creating intricate rhythms (think Stomp) using the football gear, speaking parts, etc. There's even a ref and coach! This piece is certain to be an audience favorite! Comes complete with performance notes.
