Horizons by Johanna Beyer is a percussion ensemble piece written for 14 players. Dated April 1942, Horizons is the last and most ambitious of eight known percussion ensemble works composed by Johanna Magdalena Beyer. This four-movement work has no specific instrumentation, only general pitch ranges of high and low.
