Hosseini-Confrontation (2S)-P

Confrontation was composed through a story telling process which puts the musicians into a theatrical situation. It is the story that drives the structure and decides which sounds are needed. The master and the disciple sitting face to face gives a visual tension that creates the composition dynamics and rhythms. The music does what the two characters would do in a power struggle. Just like a dialogue in a screenplay that must stay true to what the characters would say or not say.
