Huestis-Doppeltone (SP)-P

German for “double tone” or “two tones,” Doppeltone by Michael Huestis utilizes three primary performers utilizing two non-pitched instruments that produce different tones. The piece can be performed as a trio consisting of performers playing two snare drums, two concert toms, and two congas. Colors and timbres can be increased with the optional addition of three more performers.

• Player 2: 2 Concert toms (may substitute drum set toms), cymbal (with sticks)
