Works perfect! Couldn't have asked for a better product. My band director recommended that I should get a 5x14 to carry BOTH my Ludwig Acrolite (5x14) and Pearl Philharmonic (4x14) Snare Drums. It saves a little cash, since I can just throw a blanket in the case to cover extraneous space when I put the Philharmonic in. Nevertheless, the Ludwig Acrolite fits perfect inside the drum. The foam is great, and the straps are killer. Very sturdy product! Nothing wrong with it at all. I have Region Jazz Auditions for Drum Set this weekend, meaning that I will be using this case for my Acrolite. I'm 100% sure it will handle the Snare Drum with the upmost care!
