The Independent Drum Lab Universal Strainer and Butt Plate Combo offers quiet, reliable operation in a lightweight and simple design. The strainer is equipped with adjustable slotted mounting holes which can adapt from 1″ to 2.5″ hole spacings, with clearance for a center bead. This makes it a great replacement or alternative for a variety of snare drums new and vintage.

The included butt plate also features the INDe adjustable spacing system, with mounting holes from 1.1″ to 2.8″ to fit a variety of pre drilled drum shells.

Man! The Inde strainer sounds amazing! My old Ludwig strainer made my 8x14 Ludwig Classic Maple snare sound dull and lifeless. This strainer brought the crispiness to my snare drum. It's more sensitive now too. It's a lot easier to operate and it's more durable. I added die cast hoops to this snare and Canopus snare wire. Now, it's the perfect sounding snare for live and studio work. Definitely try the Inde strainer on your snare. You will love it.
