This mallets are great, i play a repertoire for soloist timpani. Very quick mallets and the tone is really awesome.
Description
The JGpercussion Classic Timpani Mallets were designed in collaboration with master-craftsman Glenn F. Smith. These hickory shafts are hand-turned for perfect balance and great feel. Each pair is sewn by hand with the highest quality materials. The CL2 “Bartok” model is made of Linear felt over a rounded cork core for a quick, clear articulate sound. These are great for Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta and the last movement of the Concerto for Orchestra.

These mallets are very articulate. The large head provides a full and broad sound without losing the crisp attack. These are very light and agile, as well as being widely applicable to many types of music. Excellent value for excellent quality.
