This is the first set from the David Herbert series I have played with. It's like I'm playing with air, and I love them! These are the perfect lightweight general/medium-hard mallets to add to your collection for Orchestras and Symphonies. They offer a clear and warm sound from the timpani.
Could not put these mallets down. Perfect all-around mallet for a wide range of applications in both church and orchestral venues.
I'm blown away by these mallets! The feel and rebound are simply incredible. How do you beat the weight of bamboo, with the consistency and strength of a man-made material?!
