Very good mallets! I'd say - as I understand it - slightly softer than "all-purpose" general mallets(JG Joseph Pereira 4 for example),but have nice solid weight and full beautiful sound ,including on 23-24' timpani. And it is indeed good option to use them between JGMOberaigner 5(a bit harder) and JGJPereira 2 o 4(a bit softer). As usual - 5 points go to Jason!

Good mallets, as most(if not all) of JG mallets. These ones slightly harder than JG MO 5,still heavy and full sound though.
