The Oberaigner mallet are made for timpani. But they sound great on the set. Nice even and light feel from the mallet, yet they really pull sounds out of the toms just like they do on a big copper drum. Great tones out of the drum shells too without damaging the finish. Use them cautiously and they will last a few years.

These mallets are great to play out articulate rhythms with very clear sound, especially for Mahler No.7. Highly recommended for everyone!
