The music is wonderful, however, only 1 of the 5 pieces are playable on a 4.3 octave as advertised. The alternative suggestions included in the book are also not playable on a 4.3.

Wonderful!

This is a great book for intermediate marimba players. The book starts with Memories of the Seashore a beautiful piece, without too many difficult sections then ends with Variations on Japanese Children's Song, and advanced piece that will keep people busy for some time. All the pieces are entertaining to perform and listen. I recommend for anyone wanting some new literature to play.
