Kihle-H2O: A Reading Resource for Snare Drum

H2O: A Reading Resource for Snare Drum aims to improve rhythm reading for percussionists. The etudes are written without regular phrases to encourage the player to ignore patterns and continually count. The focus is not on rudiments, dynamics or any aspect of music beyond rhythm. Etudes are written with a focus on 16th notes, 16ths mixed with triplets, compound meters, 32nd notes and mixed rhythms and meters.
