Koss-Rusty Refrigerant-SD

Rusty Refrigerant by Zachary Koss is a 21st Century snare drum solo. It uses different rhythms and is played on a few different parts of the drum many different times throughout the piece. This keeps the player and/or performer of the piece alert while playing. The snare drum itself gets pretty good use in this solo between the different rhythms, dynamics, and the several different parts of the drum that are played on frequently.

This piece depicts Refrigerant for an Air Conditioning or cooling system that does not work very good due to rust. The rust ends up taking over and does not help cool down an area that is too warm.
