Las Abejas by Agustin Barrios Mangore adapted for marimba by Nathan Daughtrey. This four mallet solo scored for 4.6 octave (low E) marimba was originally written in the fall of 1921 as an arpeggio etude for guitarists. This piece's quick tempo, virtuosic techniques, and title have drawn comparisons to Rimskey-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblebee."
