Description
The main inspiration for Gerard Lecointe's Apres Masques came from the works of Claude Debussy, which form the cornerstone of the composers musical imagination and devlopment as a performer. An unusual composition for five percussive keyboards, Apres Masques is built on harmonic, rhythmic, thematic and sonic elements from "Masques" a remarkably concise and dazzling piece for solo piano.
