Description
The music of Flashback echoes some of my works for solo timpani and another well-known solo. It places these echoes, along with some new music, in a setting that expresses my view of solo music for timpani. Flashback is to be performed with accurate pitch definition and rhythmic clarity. The music is both retrospective and forward looking.
