I call them "beat eaters" because they do soak up the sound but they are perfect for my "kitted" frame drums. BTW: If anyone needs any help at Steve Weiss, get ahold of Jim O'Conner. He knew what I wanted, what I needed and he worked hard to get it all to me. Something another instrument supply outlet could not do. Thanks, Jim!
