I have used these stand now for about 4 years. I just purchased two additional stands this past month. I am impressed with the quality of the build, the stability of the base and the ease of using the boom stand portion. The chrome plating is very good. I also have in my arsenal , cymbal stands from Tama, Yamaha, Ludwig , and Gibraltar. In all those cases , those stands (single and double braced legs) cost at least $30-$100 more. For light applications, such as Concert Band , Orchestra, Small Drum Kit stuff, virtually just about EVERY situation other than Heavy Hitting Rock , these Weiss Brand Stands DO THE JOB!

I needed a reasonable cymbal stand, but not one designed for a touring rock star. This is the best stand "dollar for dollar" out there. It is very sturdy; I have an 18" crash mounted on it and it is solid. The adjustments are easy. The three tiers are offer a lot of options. I am a big fan of the telescoping boom! The hubs at the tube tops, where the wing nuts are, are sort of rounded off and look terrific. The chrome has a beautiful finish too. I have another cymbal stand in this price range and the Liberty One is superior to it in every way. Highly recommended.
