Garner-Lightbringers (SP)-V/M/4T/P

Lightbringers by Lucas Garner for percussion duo accompanied by percussion quartet (six players total). This piece was written for the first annual Lee University Percussion Ensemble Composition Contest. The music of Lightbringers is dedicated to the sense of cooperation and optimism we feel as a community of musicians working together. It is a very light-hearted yet extremely energetic approach to that single, simple emotion of happiness.

Player 2 - 26" timpano, triangle, F crotale, snare drum
Player 3 - 29" timpano, suspended cymbal, triangle, Eb crotale, wooodblock
Player 4 - 32" timpano, suspended cymbal, D crotale, hi-hat, bass drum
