This thing is so handy! It's the perfect size, well constructed and smartly designed. By attaching to a cymbal or mic stand, it literally has no footprint of it's own and can go almost anywhere. I use mine to hold a few percussion toys, my guitar tuner, extra picks, a groovy light and my beer. I'm thinking about getting a second one!

Playing in pit orchestras this tray fit all my needs for a tight space. Smaller than a music stand for a tray table; clamps onto any cymbal or tom stand for close placement; padded so no need for additional towel; held everything I needed it to. A little heavier than I expected it to be, but overall an excellent product.

This tray is outstanding. All the features mentioned in the description are there, and every part is made with care and quality. This tray attaches to any cymbal stand and is sturdy as can be. The padded surface is an extra nice touch because it saves the hassle of bringing an extra towel for the stand! I can access more of the accessories in my rig with greater, which means I play them all more often on stage.
Bottom line: This stand makes me a sound better on stage.

This is good for a small number of instruments. I use this above a Gibraltar table and this holds many effects (bells, nut shells, shakers, finger cymbals etc). It will hold many instruments of this size. There is a holder on one side that you can hang an instrument on as well. The rubber is quiet, but the table is pretty resonant as it is so be careful you do not touch the raised surfaces.
Helpful addition!

This gig tray is very handy! I sing and play auxiliary percussion for a ska band. It's difficult to change instruments quickly, especially if you're just placing them on the floor. I purchased this gig tray and attached it to my bongo stand. Now I can easily switch from bongos to tambourine, vibra-slap, claves, shakers, or just about anything else in a short amount of time. Would also work nicely if attached to a mic stand, or to a music stand for horn players during their down town.
