These bells trace their roots back to Africa and then to the metal Agogo Bells played throughout Brazil. Crisp and consistent sound unlike any existing instrument. Mounts quickly and easily attaches to any 3/8" diameter mounting rod. Pitched so that they have complementary tones - high and low - approximately one minor third apart. Brilliant sound combined with a bold, colorful look makes them perfect for the professional percussionist yet simple enough for the novice musician. LP Eye-bolt Assembly included.

good for jam block sounds

This is about the same price as one of LP's medium jam blocks, but you get 2 pitches. If you are a percussionist then this is a better deal. For metal drumming or similar an actual jam block may last longer. The lower-pitched of the 2 plastic bells has the same pitch as the Blue jam block, and the higher is close to the piccolo jam block. The mount has worked fine so far without loosening.
