Very sturdy stand. These newer LP stands have hole in the posts so they can be "pinned", that way they wont slip down from all the weight. My Congas are 33 and 34 pounds, so that's a lot of weight. I opted for the wheeled stand because I can move it out of the way easier. If there's a con, it's that all the weight produced a crack in the finish; right next to the mounting bracket.p The crack was probably a result of me not having the lower support bracket correctly adjusted when initially mounting it. I'm going to repair it with super glue and some sand paper. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
