Lundberg-Shifting Blue (SP)-V/M

In the first part of this duo for vibraphone and marimba, the marimba plays disjunct patterns requiring well developed independent 4 mallet technique, while the vibraphone plays smoother, more melodic material. Midway through the piece, the roles are reversed, with the vibraphone doing the jumping around and the marimba playing the smoother line. A D.S. takes the players back to near the beginning of the piece through the first section after which a brief coda concludes the work.
