MacDonald-To See-M

Payton MacDonald dedicated his solo marimba piece to his wife, Jessica Johnson. He says, " "Jessica" means "to see". Jessica is a very perceptive person and definitely has the ability to see levels of nuance that I usually miss".

The piece requires solid independent mallet technique, including one-handed rolls, and offers some improvisatory possibilities if desired.
