Without these mallets, my life would be nothing. Amazing...absolutely outstanding!!!!!!!!!!
Description
Kevin Bobo is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Percussion at The University of Kansas. He has performed nationally and internationally as a solo recitalist, clinician, and orchestral percussionist. He holds a Bachelors Degree from Wichita State University where he studied with J.C. Combs and a Masters Degree from Ithaca College where he studied with Gordon Stout.

Mallets from a god

Very good mallets. They are single tone which allows the performer to get the same consistency in sound across all dynamic ranges. The weight on the mallets allows the user to obtain effortless dynamic changes. Combined with other mallets from the Kevin Bobo line, you can achieve the perfect colors for most any piece.

These mallets sound and feel great. They are not intended to be an extremely soft mallet and fit well when played with the other Bobo mallets, They are not as harsh as the other mallets and work great. They are extremely versatile mallets and work well throughout the whole range.
A MEDIUM mallet

This mallet is falsely named. It creates the sound of a medium mallet. When I compared this to the KB11 mallets (the medium) these KB8 sounded almost identical. The only difference I noticed was the KB8 had a different contact sound. I love the KB11s, but this line isn't worth having if there's no dynamic contrast.
