Excellent for Certain Celections

These mallets are not for general playing. The two tones of these mallets have a pretty stark contrast. At a low dynamic, the mallets are soft and beautiful, but once you get around a mezzo-forte level, the brittle sound of the core bites through. I'm using them currently for Fissinger's "Mist" and they're really working well. All of the low rolls are lush and pretty and when using pressure correctly, the higher notes on the keyboard still speak.
