Great sound
Medium-soft tones. Excellent for small acoustic ensembles.
World-Renown for his vibe stylings, Mike’s two models are a major component of his signature sound. Both feature vibrant fuscia synthetic yarn for excellent performance and appearance.

Great sound
I have been looking to replace my Good Vibes Mike Manieri's for quite some time, and I compared the MM13's side-by-side with the GV's and they are not a true match, especially in the attack sound and overall weight (these are heavier than the GV's). The Malletech attack is a true medium-soft, which is good, but doesn't match the unique attack of the GV's. There is such a cool 'spank' in the GV attack, it's difficult to describe. The playing head of the Malletech is also different than the GV: more of a mushroom shape than round. And the GV material looks like cord, rather than the yarn used in the Malletechs. The mallet handles are also a 1/2" longer than the original GV Manieri's, which makes a big difference to the feel (I play 2 and 4 mallets, musser grip). Overall these are good medium-soft mallets, but I give them a 3 due to the use of Manieri's name and in comparing the original Good Vibes.
The mallets is very very full and very warm sound.
