Katny-Mantra (2S)-2V

Mantra by Polish composer Arkadiusz Katny is a vibraphone duet that implements a variety of advanced performance techniques including double bass bowing, mallet dampening, finger harmonics, and bottom stroking. Katny is an award winning composer and marimbist. Born in 1990 in Ostrów Wielkopolski, he graduated from Komeda School of Music and Chopin Comprehensive School in the Composition, Percussion and Culture's Knowledge Sections. He is currently a student at Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw. Mantra was published in 2011 and runs approximately 20 minutes.
