The Marimba One Izzy™ is the flagship model height adjustable marimba. Ideal for both the university setting and the home studio, the Marimba One Izzy™ is Marimba One's lightest weight frame, yet extremely durable and rigid. The instrument utilizes gas springs in the end frames so that it is effortless to raise and lower the keyboard. Marimba One laser engraves tape measures into the end frame so you always know the exact keyboard height. 100% designed and built in Arcata, California.

This marimba was my mid-life crisis purchase. I went to music school for marimba but I am not a professional. I needed a 5-octave instrument to play the repertoire that I wanted to play, and my trusty old Kelon 4.3 Musser had outlived its usefulness. The Izzy sounds incredible. The mallet bounce is amazing, the depth of tone is so warm and thick, and the aesthetic of the entire instrument is top notch. It ships securely on a pallet in very sturdy box. Each piece is then boxed up and packed on its own. I had to navigate it up toy second floor house and It was doable (with help). It went together in 20 minutes. It is an absolute joy to play, I'm spending all the time I can with it. Highly recommend.
