These mallets are great for solo and ensemble mallet pieces, and really work well in the upper register. Would be more accurate to call these medium hard.
Description
The Marimba One Conrado Moya Medium Birch Mallets deliver a clear fundamental across the entire range of the instrument. Each mallet features a heavy weighted core with tight tensioned yarn. The Moya mallets they achieve clear articulation with a very warm texture, even with the hardest mallets. Designed specifically played with big orchestras, choirs, and percussion ensembles they are also delicate enough to be used in the most intimate chamber music and solo works.
