Ivana Bilic wanted her new mallet line to emphasize the singing characteristic of the marimba, by relating the sound that each mallet makes to human vocal qualities. Her definitions for each mallet combine the ideal playing range for a mallet with the color/timbre of its sound.

These are simply great mallets. Different than your typical rubber core mallet but different in a good way. Great choice if you are looking for something that has a unique feel but still is very user friendly.
These mallets are great for the upper/middle range of the marimba, again a great singing quality that can be used for quick passages or as the upper mallet in chorale passages. I look forward to the opportunity to perform with these mallets!
