I love these mallets! They've got a nice weight to them (a little heavier than a 50/50 mallet) and the sound is quite nice. They've got a very nice balance of brightness and warmth. The bass mallet is a little bit heavier than the other three in the set but it isn't super noticeable when paired together. I also like to tape my mallets so I can have a little extra grip, especially on my outside mallets, but the shafts on these are super smooth and I honestly like the feel without it better but they feel great either way. I'd personally recommend these mallets to anyone who's looking for a nice graduated set that isn't wanting to break the bank. 10/10 would recommend.
