A different concept in Chime mallets and they work GREAT.
Description
The Massimo Tornado 2 Inverted Chime Mallets allow you to play the chimes like any other mallet instrument, without worrying about the awkward rebound or orientation of the mallet. The Inverted mallet heads allow the player easier access to both rows of chimes.
The 15 1/2 inch long padded hickory handles keep the players hands at a comfortable distance while playing both rows of chimes.

I bought these thinking they would be easier to properly orient to the chimes' striking surface than the original Massimo mallets. In general they probably are, but I ended up not liking them enough to give them much use. They are long, very heavy, and honestly a little unwieldy. They also don't feel great when striking the chimes; the combination of head material, shaft length, and weight mean there's very little rebound and feedback in the hands. I give them three stars because they are useful due to their weight, and you can get some powerful sounds out of chimes with them, but outside of that, I don't use them much.
