The Massimo Ultra Staccato Mallets can be used on chimes, or other percussion instruments that require a very hard heavy mallet (brake drums, bell plates, etc). Allow you to play the chimes like any other mallet instrument, without worrying about the awkward rebound or orientation of the mallet.
