I was looking for mallet work that for me, struck the right balance of technical enough but not over-the-top in terms of frustration to accomplish. It sucks being in the 'former' professional percussion sub status, in that you want to play the hard stuff, but time & life dictate otherwise. This book is mainly 2 mallet work, although Bach's Solfeggietto is gonna need 4 mallets to cover the spread, but left to you to figure it out. If you're looking for a book that's been transcribed well, has a good amount of technicality and yet doesn't give you the frustration like your golf game, this is it.
