I got this thing when I was in about 6th or 7th grade and had first started playing percussion. It worked great, and has been super reliable all the way up until now (freshman year in college) when it started to fall apart. The wheel came off, but I feel that was more from storing it in my backpack all the time and less from bad product design. Overall, it's nothing fancy, but it's reliable, loud enough to be heard over the instrument, and has a convenient headphone jack.
