Great rock tambourine

I got this to record some backing tambourine tracks for a rock record, and it was just what I was hoping for. Played hard, it has a great percussive crunch; played softly, it has a nice light jingle. It's comfortable to hold and very well made. A couple of things surprised me: 1) this tambourine is really loud; it would be a great instrument to use live. Although it wasn't a problem, the volume definitely took the recording engineer by surprise. 2) it's heavy; this took some getting used to. I think people who don't play much percussion (e.g., backing singers) might struggle to play it in time because the weight would be so much more than they were used to.
