Meinl Gong Resonant Mallet is designed to bring forward the atmospheric and therapeutic tones in gongs. The pitches and tones are similar to the songs of whales. The RM-40 is the second largest of the mallet series and will bring lower pitches forward. The larger the mallet the lower the yielded pitches and tones are.
