Meinl 18" HCS Dark Crash Cymbal

The Meinl 18" HCS Dark Crash delivers powerful, punchy accents with a controlled response and quick decay. Its larger diameter provides a broad, expressive crash sound while maintaining the focused tonal character of the HCS Dark series. Ideal for rock, pop, and contemporary drumming, this cymbal adds depth and musical versatility to any drum setup.

Constructed in Germany from MS63 brass alloy, the HCS Dark Crash features a specially treated dark finish that gives it a striking appearance and mid-dark tonal character. The medium-weight design produces a balanced response with short sustain, allowing accents to speak clearly without overwhelming the mix. The 18" size pairs especially well with smaller crashes, providing an additional tonal option for dynamic playing.
