Used this drum in a concert band setting and you could hear the drum above the band. Worth the cost.
Description
The Meinl Sea Drum creates the sounds of the sea. The effect of soothing waves impacting the shore line is created by an assortment of beads sealed in a drum shell between two heads. There are two types of heads, one goat skin, the other synthetic. This will allow for two types of timbres out of this drum. It'll be easy to develop technique and find many rolls for the Sea Drum in musical or theatrical situations.
- A sealable port allows for the player to control the amount of beads in the drum
