The Meinl Standard Long 5A sticks are a great stick. Very well balanced and the acorn tip sounds great on the drumheads and the cymbals. The extra 1/2 gives these sticks a great rebound and feel. I ordered several pairs of these from Steve Weiss to try out and I am glad that I did. The craftsmanship on the Meinl sticks is perfect. I am still using my other sticks but do use these from time to time. They are definitely worth it for you to pick up a few pairs to try out.

Great sticks from Meinl. The quality and craftsmanship of Meinl Sticks is extremely consistent. It doesn't matter which model you purchase, they are all very well made sticks. The Meinl Standard Long 5A model is a well balanced and comfortable stick. The acorn tip sounds great on the drums and cymbals. If you get a chance to pick up a pair of these sticks I recommend that you do. Thank you Steve Weiss for the great service and fast delivery!
