I use this Bass box in my duo. I use the Bass box as a bass drum with a firecracker snare and hi hats. It is a compact and full sounding set up yet the volume can be easily managed. The "thump" is perfect, with no overtones. I even customized it with a "King Gong" sticker (I wish I could post a picture). It looks as good as it sounds.
